Using Netscape 7.1 or 7.2?

Then you have Pop-Up Blocking and Search features built in!

Here's how to use them:

To activate the Pop-Up Blocker, select the "Edit" menu, then select "Preferences..."

From the "Preferences" screen, click the arrow next to "Privacy & Security," then select "Popup Windows."

Check the box next to "Block unrequested popup windows" to activate the Pop-Up Blocker, then click OK.

To search from the Netscape 7 browser, simply type a search word into the address bar and click "Search."
